I hold a BA Honours degree (Bac+4) from the University of Reading, Berkshire, England and possess all required ITI/UN certifications, in addition to KUDO, ABLIO conference, INTERPREFY and other RSI platforms certifications. I figure on the INSPIRA/INDICO list of Consultants and WTO/UNCTAD/ITC Consultants Roster. Recently retired from the African Union Commission, accredited to the United Nations, I served for over 11 years at the Permanent Delegation of the AUC in Geneva, Switzerland, in my capacity as Staff Interpreter/translator/reviser, Grade P4 English booth FRENCH<>ENGLISH. At 64 years of age, I have over 20 years of experience in the booth, am still very dynamic and feel I have a lot to offer. I am fluent in French, English, (French mother tongue, English native speaker’s proficiency) Spanish and Italian, with sound working knowledge of German and Arabic. Accredited to the UN System at the Palais des Nations in Geneva, I am currently operating as a freelance interpreter, and familiar with UN System terminology and operations.
